Strategy meeting in Berlin

All the managing director of GSM Group met together to strategy meeting in Berlin branch of MEYTEC on 15 August 2008. This - now traditional meeting - is leading annually for the management of the group on a stand point decision depending on the requirement, even for a new orientation. Next to an assessment of current business were particularly an analysis of the strengths, weaknesses and potential of the individual divisions of company purposes. The discussion and implementation of the beginning year launched selective Innovation Strategy (SIS) was the central issue. Thereafter, the company demanded more innovative services and products to identify, to add advantage of the synergy potential of the group to ensure a medium-and long-term positive business development.

xPoint™ v1.5 with new features

Emblaze-VCON has for its group-system xPoint , a new version 1.5. This allows optional the internal first 6-port MCU with Continuous Presence and Transcoding to use and brings another small improvements, the new recording & streaming option. This feature allows an ongoing conference on the internal memory or a USB memory recorded. Recording and streaming can also be carried out and as a Windows Media Video is compressed, so this with any media player. Other innovations are the use of data without connection, side-by-side video and data as well as the possibility of a text in the video through it. A Telnet interface makes the xPoint now for a space integration interesting. With the new version is an altogether remarkable development in the interests of the user. The upgrade to v1.5 requires a new license key (free for systems under a service contract). If the system without the new license key will be operated, some features are not available. All new versions are available on request - in the presence of a contract for free - available.

vPoint v8.0 SP1 released

Emblaze-VCON has the Service Pack 1 for vPointHD v8.0 with new features released. The possibility of high-definition 1080p resolution receive (Executive version only), Windows XP and Windows Vista 64-bit support and xPoint v1.5 support are the essential new features. The solution of problems make it easier included the use of the system . For example, the display ratio was corrected, sharing PPTX and DOCX (Office 2007 formats) added, problems resolved with integrated LifeSize MCU , will now enabled a DV camera support and selecting from a DNS address book. Furthermore, small ISDN problems were deleted, only the troublesome pop-up window was deleted when using analogue cameras, however only in Vista.

The system HD4000 v7.5 SP1 with new features available

Emblaze VCON has now the Service Pack 1 for the product HD4000 v7.5 software and the HD4000pro released. This version allows mainly a better cooperation with the xPoint 1.5 version. New is also that a transfer of 4CIF resolution of 1.5 Mbps is possible, previously existing problems with integrated LifeSize MCU resolved and cooperation with the MPS Tandberg system has been improved.

High-Definition Multimedia system HD7000pro is now available

The new high-definition multimedia system HD7000pro is now available. The HD7000pro sends 720p from 512 kbit / s, can receive up to 1080p and includes the EVI-HD1 camera. A 6-port MCU, as well as recording & streaming for October are announced. Also new is the VCBpro 7.0, which is more than ever as all-in-one solution. In addition to the actual MCU functionality in high-definition, the VCBpro 7.0 is also a gatekeeper, management and global address book and phone systems - for forwarding functionality and ease of loading to ad-hoc conferences. New additions is also the possibility of the conferences held in high-definition recording, and in unicast to stream.
